Frequently asked questions

Who can enquire about institutional registration?

Training institutions, educational platforms and other eligible organizations can enquire about the relevant i-Reg Connect category. Eligibility and the documents required are confirmed for the organization and its activities.

Is institutional registration free for life?

Institutional registration is free for life while the institution continues to meet the applicable program standards and requirements. Certificate issuance, attestation and other requested services may carry separate fees, which should be confirmed before proceeding.

Can an individual trainer enroll directly?

Trainer enrollment under i-Reg Connect – ENR is submitted through an active registered institution and is linked to the relevant training activity. It does not represent independent IITQ trainer accreditation.

Can a registered institution enroll its trainers and request certificates?

Yes. Registered institutions can submit eligible trainer enrollment and certificate requests for trainers under their organization, subject to the requirements of the relevant service. The institution should check the trainer’s details and supporting information before submission.

What information should an institution prepare?

Prepare the organization’s legal name, contact details, country, licensing or registration information, and a description of its training activities. The team will identify any additional documents needed for the applicable registration category.

What is needed for a certificate request?

Requirements depend on the program and selected service. Institutions should prepare accurate participant names, training details, relevant records and any required supporting documents. Confirm spelling and program information before requesting issuance.

Are IITQ services academic degrees?

IITQ services relate to professional and vocational development. Institutional registration and professional certificates do not constitute university accreditation or academic degrees.

How do I check a certificate or registration record?

Open the Verification page and enter the verification code shown on the document. The tool also provides barcode scanning and image upload options. If a record cannot be found or information appears inconsistent, contact support@iitq.ca with the reference and a clear description of the issue.

How can I request document attestation?

Tell the team what document you hold and the purpose of the request. Provide the relevant reference and, when requested, a clear copy through the agreed service channel. Eligibility, requirements and any fees are confirmed before processing.

Can training or consulting be tailored to our organization?

Yes. A proposed scope can be shaped around your sector, goals, team size, current capability and preferred delivery format. Use the service request form to discuss corporate training, consulting, quality development or institutional readiness. Delivery arrangements and outcomes are agreed for each engagement.

How may a partner use an IITQ badge or logo?

Use only the approved artwork and wording within the scope of the organization’s authorization or registration. Preserve the logo’s proportions and colors, display the correct agency or registration code, and avoid implying a broader relationship than the one granted. Contact IITQ for clarification or artwork requests.

How can we propose a social responsibility initiative?

Describe the community need, intended participants, proposed activities and contribution you would like to discuss. Relevant areas include vocational education, research, applied training, digital transformation, AI literacy and lifelong learning. Support and responsibilities are agreed for each initiative.
